Hand Manipulated Machine Knitting Workshop

Update:  The workshop exceeded expectations and now I've got a head full of new knowledge and inspiration.  Thank you to Rapid Rows Machine Knitters hosting this outstanding event!

Happy Pi Day!

I'm looking forward to the two day Rapid Rows Machine Knitter's Guild of Central New Jersey workshop coming up tomorrow and Saturday...Hand Manipulated Machine Knitting with Susan Guagliumi.  A day of lecture and a day of swatching on our machines.  Yippee!  I'm gonna have a good time.

TODAY - Dishcloth Demo & Discover Time Class

Stop by and visit me at the free Dishcloth Demo today in the Wayne Michaels located at 1660 Route 23 North in the Waynechester Plaza Mall.  

Stay and take a Discover TIME class from 4 - 6:30 pm.  I can show you how use dish cloths to expand your knowledge of knit stitch patterns and then transform them into a blanket or handbag.  Bring your own projects also welcome.  The 2 1/2 hour class is $25.00.

All levels of knitting skills welcome.

Each knitter works at their own pace on projects

of their own choosing to build knowledge and confidence.

Activities and support are provided between classes via phone and email.

Preregistration is required.

One-room schoolhouse style learning environment welcomes all levels of knitting skills.
 Students who wish to can participate in a sweater knit along.  

Two will be run -- one for beginner knitters and another for more advanced students.  
We will cover gauge, fit, knitting the garment and finishing.
 Or each knitter can work at their own pace on projects of their own choosing.

In each class there will be group presentations or activities 

and individual students will receive coaching on their projects.

Activities and support are provided between classes.

Preregistration is required.

The fee covers all instruction and a room use donation.  
Student materials and supplies are not included.
